Make Up Shoot - April

I got inspired by the bamboo in our backyard. So I went to the store got an emerald dress and started playing with green make up. This is basically a short notice shoot and we got the essences of the bamboo with the face and the eyes. Lara Villareal photographed the shoot, the model is Gizel Obar, and of course make up is Jerome Infantado which is me.

Is Make Up Really Important?

This week filled me with everything to do about make up. The salon where I have been working at had a splurge of Brides and Prom girls that came in for make up. It was suddenly all about blushes, eye shadows, and concealing those things that need to be hidden.

It makes me realize how make up is now a solid requirement for everyday life. I know we all want to look good, and that's not bad, however, I know quite a few amount of people that don't really wear a lot or doesn't wear any at all. It's just that people rely on make up for everything, many hide in it, and I think it can cause some psychological effect later on.

I ran into this picture online when I was browsing and I was like inspired to write something about it.

I think everyone is beautiful, but not everyone is showing their true beauty because they aren't really taking care of themselves. These models look like everyone else that walks the mall, and shop at Wal Mart!

What A Life!

I haven't really blogged lately cause, I moved to a new Salon/Spa. I was like trying to get everything settled down, and market myself to my old and new clients. Anyways, there was tons of mambo jumbos that happened and it just basically made me think about life and such.

 

I recently came from a Spring Break vacation to Fort Lauderdale. We stayed from Friday to Monday, and it was fun at the beginning, around Friday to Sat night. However, Sunday night was so weird. We all had drinks then comes a couple of misunderstanding and a lot of making out.

Sooo... after that, there was this wedding. One of our artist and a close friend got married. My brother and I started working on her wedding cake and it was a painful and expensive, 3 sleepless nights. But all the hard work came out to be a beautiful masterpiece.
