Ann Ward

I am probably late on this but I am still intrigued by Ann Ward! If you guys have not heard of her, she won the 15th cycle of Tyra Bank's popular reality competition "America's Next Top Model". She recently got my attention during the Alex London Show in Fashion Week 2011 Winter February 13. In where she was wearing an ethereal dress.

Standing 6'2", Ann is absolutely perfect for European high fashion. I mean when Vogue Italia featured her on the magazine, (above picture) she basically showed the world that she can definitely model. The shots were amazing, proving that she belongs to the short list of haute models out there.

Ann Ward is currently being represented by IMG Models.

My Final Fantasy XIII Review

With all the hype about the game itself, the 13th series of the popular Final Fantasy by Square Enix, is perplexed with positive and negative reviews.

I recently got a hold of this game, and I must say the graphics are awesome. The game always gets me excited, when the CG cinematics play. It is so amazing how it's detailed down to the very last hair strand.

Gameplay otherwise failed to impress me, due to the battle system and the confusing combat and power grids. (Yes I can be slow at times lol) Learning to use these complex systems is the key to completing the game with ease. I didn't know how to use the "Paradigm" thingie at first, but when I found out that it can be switched simultaneously and grant me different combat options, it then made the whole thing understandable.

I suppose the story is great, however, the part where I have to play different characters all the time is a little bit irritating. I am a person that only focuses on one character. Even when I play MMO's I rarely make alts and just play one toon. Although I understand that it makes the story have more depth when the player can get to know the main characters of the story.

In addition, what the hell is with the annoying repetitions of l'Cie, Pulse l'Cie, Fal'Cie....  I can only take so much of those words. Why can't they just make a normal sounding words?

However, even for the old and the new Final Fantasy fans, I do recommend to try and purchase Final Fantasy XIII, just for the experience and fun of it. Check it out on the side panel if you wish to purchase it through Amazon.com.

New Betty.. Not Ugly..

So I just finished watching the latest episode of Ugly Betty, and I just had to like write about it. That show for me, means so much, just because I learn many things from it. It makes me happy they have shows that have meaning and substance, not just a tasteless comedy show.

This was Betty before everything..

Notice the glasses? the eyebrows? She was all that but after a couple of seasons, Betty Suarez (played by America Ferrera) has undergone a make over.. little by little.. and we all know she becomes prettier too, just based on the telenovela..

This is her on the February 10, 2010 episode "Smokin' Hot"..

This is her outside the show....

Mass Effect!

Alright, I am completely obsessed with the Mass Effect series! Both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 are such epic games. Bioware has done it well and they have earned my loyalty. For those who aren't informed, Mass Effect is a role playing series and is heavy on the storyline. I can compare it to the Star Wars of games. The story, graphics, and interactions are very addicting.

I find a lot of similarities between Mass Effect and Dragon Age. The romantic options are one. The player can build relationships from talking and performing personal favors for the NPC and they can form a unique interaction only triggered by romance.

Anyways, the story so far is very big on "the Reapers" which are highly evolved ancient beings, that can possess machines and organisms. The first Mass Effect game dealt with introducing "the Reapers" as the bad guy. Although, Shepard, the lead character is always there to thwart their plans.

I always pick a girl as Shepard and I love the game basically! It is a must buy and no one will be disappointed!

For more information on the game, please visit Bioware.
