Special Pumpkin Pie!

I wanted to share a special recipe for my private Thanksgiving dinner party! It will be held in my residence and dress code is casual dressy!

It is called the Pumpkin Custard Pie! Here are the ingredients for it:

1 Box of Graham crackers

1 stick of butter

6 egg yolks

1 can of evaporated milk

1 can of condensed milk

1/2 cup of grated pumpkin or half of the canned pumpkin

1/2 cup of sugar*

Alright, let us make the crust for the pie. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. I forgot to mention the need of a pan for the pie, but you need to crush the crackers into a pile of brown yummy powder. Heat up the stick of butter and pour it over the Graham bits and pieces. Mix it together well, and make sure the melted butter touches every piece. Pour the mixture into the pan and gently push it into the pan as if someone would make a crust for a pie... Then let it burn in the oven... I mean bake it, for 15 minutes into the oven. The crust should be done!

Time to make the custard! First, place the egg yolks into the bowl. Mix the evaporated and condensed milk into the egg yolk until it is pale yellow. In addition, add the pumpkin to the bowl. Make sure everything is blended well. Pour the contents of the bowl into the crust and bake it. Leave it baking for 30 minutes and watch to see if the custard has a firmer texture before taking it out.

To finalize it, pour the sugar* on top of the custard, and burn it with a torch. Kinda like creme brulee!
